Medium 19(USP)(Medium 19)

Medium 19(USP) is a special liquid medium which conforms to the standards of the United States Pharmacopoeia, and is suitable for microbial limit inspection of non-sterile drugs. Its basic components are casein trypsin digest and polysorbate 80, which provides balanced nutrition and effectively neutralizes preservatives and antibacterial components in the sample. This culture medium can support the recovery and growth of bacteria, yeasts and molds, and ensure the accuracy of the test results through neutralization. It is a standardized tool for sample pretreatment in drug microbial inspection.
