Oat nitrate agar

Oat nitrate agar is a solid medium for selective separation of actinomycetes. Its basic components are oat flour and potassium nitrate, and the key additive is trace element solution. This culture medium supports actinomycetes to form typical aerial hyphae and spore chains through the combination of plant carbon sources and inorganic nitrogen sources, and inhibits the growth of some miscellaneous bacteria at the same time. It is a standard tool for the development of soil microbial resources.
