MVTY medium

MVTY medium is a liquid medium for selective separation of marine Vibrio. Its basic components are peptone and yeast extract powder, and the key additives are sodium chloride and magnesium sulfate to provide marine ion environment. The culture medium supports the growth of Vibrio through specific salinity and nutrient ratio, and uses the iron trisaccharide indicator system to detect metabolic characteristics.
