Thiobacillus disulfide culture medium is a liquid culture medium for selective culture of sulfur-oxidizing bacteria. Its basic components are sodium thiosulfate and sodium bicarbonate, and its key additives are ammonium phosphate and trace element solution. This culture medium promotes thiobacillus to oxidize sodium thiosulfate into sulfate through neutral environment, which leads to pH decrease and barium sulfate precipitation.
