Thiobacillus halophilus culture medium is a liquid culture medium for selective culture of moderately halophilic sulfur-oxidizing bacteria. Its basic components are sodium thiosulfate and sodium chloride (5-10%), and its key additives are ammonium phosphate and trace element solution. The culture medium support thiobacillus halophilus to oxidize sodium thiosulfate into sulfate through specific salinity and sulfur substrate, and is a special tool for studying sulfur cycle in high-salt environment such as salt fields and salt lakes.
