Clostridium medium is a liquid medium for selective separation of Clostridium. Its basic components are peptone and beef extract powder, and the key additive is sodium thioglycolate to reduce the redox potential. This culture medium can promote the proliferation of Clostridium and inhibit the growth of aerobic bacteria through anaerobic conditions and specific nutrients.
