CTLM medium

CTLM medium is a liquid medium for rapid culture of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The basic ingredient is Middlebrook 7H9 broth, and the key additives are glycerol, oleic acid-albumin-glucose complex and antibiotic mixture. This culture medium supports the rapid proliferation of Mycobacterium tuberculosis through exclusive growth factors and selective inhibitors, and indicates the growth by detecting the change of oxygen concentration. It is a standard tool for rapid diagnosis of tuberculosis.
