Thermotoga culture medium is a special culture medium for the selective culture of hyperthermophilic archaea Thermotoga. Its basic components are sulfides and minerals, and its key additives are yeast extract and cellulose substrate. This culture medium supports Thermomyces thermophilus to degrade cellulose and produce thermophilic enzymes under high temperature (80-90℃) and strict anaerobic conditions, and is a special tool for extreme enzyme preparation development and microbial research in high temperature environment.
