Guinness B liquid medium

King's B liquid medium is a special liquid medium for screening Pseudomonas fluorescens. Its basic components are peptone and glycerol, and its key additives are magnesium sulfate and dipotassium hydrogen phosphate. The culture medium induces Pseudomonas fluorescens to produce fluorescein through specific carbon source and ion combination, and it shows green fluorescence under ultraviolet lamp, so it is an important tool for biological control of plant diseases.
