pDHtsk-BenA is a shuttle plasmid vector specifically designed for protein expression in filamentous fungi, carrying the BenA gene as a screening marker. The BenA gene encodes β-tubulin from Aspergillus nidulans and is associated with susceptibility to the antitubular agent benomyl; it is commonly employed for resistance screening of fungal transformants.
