The Ubi-Histone-mCherry vector is a plant nuclear protein fluorescence labeling system that carries a fusion sequence comprising the Histone gene and the mCherry red fluorescent protein gene, driven by the Ubi promoter. The Histone gene contains a nuclear targeting signal that directs the fusion protein to be specifically localized within the nucleus. The fluorescence signal enables clear visualization of nuclear morphology and distribution, making this system suitable for functional characterization and subcellular localization analysis of nuclear proteins in monocotyledonous plants.
